I had Comcast/Xfinity internet for a time. Every time I had a question or issue, I would call in, but they have set up their phone tree to make it virtually impossible to speak with a human. They have an automated system, but it is useless beyond basic tasks.

At some point, I found that by hitting "0" a few dozen times, you could actually speak with a rep.

Chatbots, perhaps, will improve the customer experience for the better. At least I am hopeful.

Exactly!! This is a common experience most customers face dealing with customer supports. Even the best ones lack an appropriate flow or experience for the customer especially if you get passed down the line to other agents. Im also hoping for the best in the upcoming years however I've actually seen some pretty good use cases already.
